JUNK BONANZA 2011

The back of my booth was a rescued barn front from a farmer's burn pile in southwest Minnesota!

HERE ARE A FEW PICTURES OF MY BOOTH AT JUNK BONANZA 2011.  I HOPE YOU ENJOY THEM!  I will be posting more pictures this week.  What a great show!!  Thanks to Ki and the JB team for hosting what is truly the 'BEST JUNK ROUND-UP IN THE MIDWEST'!

DON'T FORGET TO STOP BY CARVER, MINNESOTA THIS WEEK FOR OUR OCCASIONAL SALE.  IT STARTS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 FROM 10 AM - 5 PM.  FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WE ARE OPEN FROM 10 AM - 4 PM.

Very excited to reveal my BICYCLE SEAT NECKLACE DISPLAYS for the Bonanza this year!
I always try to come up with original creations to sell.  Hope you love them as much as I do!

This year, I started creating these one-of-a-kind babies.
The 'World Traveler' baby has her compass, her travel bag with a world map, journal and book.
Her feet have wheels for easy travel.  She is still available.
Here is 'The Artist' Pierre with his paint brush and palette in hand.  He is also available.
This baby's name is Lemonette (the kind of candy that was sold in this tin).  She is ready to celebrate the fall with her pumpkin in hand.  She stands on her own and sold right away!
We went home each evening and created more great pieces for the following day. This baby girl came to life on Friday evening.  Here is Ila (my mom's name), sitting with curls in her hair under the hair dryer.  She just happens to be reading FLEA MARKET SYTLE magazine!  The miniature version of the magazine is an autographed copy by Ki herself.  In the background is Velvet.
Both of these are still available!
Of course, Ila, is reading about the baseball flowers that I also make and sell!
Ginger's tin says, "Time of Day" and she has her pocket watch in hand.  SOLD.
Here are some of the pinwheels that I created using old book pages and wallpaper samples.
This is an enlarged PAINT BY NUMBER of a bicycle on a canvas drop cloth.  It too sold.
I brought over 100 Bemis bags to the sale this year.
I used one of them for this paint by number of a cement urn.

My softball and baseball flowers were a hit again this year!!!
Ovaltine came to life on Thursday evening and sold Saturday!
I used 2 funnels for legs and metal measuring spoons for the arms.  Love the sweet face.

If you are interested in any of the items that you have seen, just send me an e-mail at seasonsincarver@yahoo.com.  Thanks.  Sara
