DO NOT DO WHAT IS ALREADY DONE

Building at University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
What a great saying:  'Do not do what is already done.'   That is what we try to do at our shops in Carver, Minnesota.  Create the unusual!   Make it feel new and exciting each month when we open for our occasional sales.  Make it so our customers want to come back month after month to check out all our great finds.  Thank you to everyone that came to our February sale -- it was awesome!  I'm sure that Spring will be in full swing at our March sales.

Is Spring around the corner?!?  We are all hoping so -- and soon.  Today in Minnesota the snow just keeps on falling -- somewhere around 15 inches since yesterday morning.  More and more snow.

I was talking to my sister, Barb, and she asked me what my "resolution" was for 2011.  I told her the usual.  Of course, I had to ask her the same question.  She said that instead of focusing on 'less of' something for the new year, she was going to focus on 'more'.  Better to focus on the positive than the negative.  Cup 1/2 full instead of 1/2 empty.

Each year brings new resolutions, giving up and changing old habits.  What a great idea!  Here are a few items for her 'more' list:

Eat more (vegetables), drink more (water), laugh more, live more, enjoy more; think more, forgive more, give more, read more, play more, walk more, move more, give in more, compliment more, listen more.
'MORE HUGS'!  (These are my two grandchildren in 2007.  Jasmyn and Damian.)
Here are some more pictures that we long to see again real soon in Minnesota:
BEAUTIFUL Ramsey Falls in Redwood Falls, MN
Robins nests with those beautiful colored eggs!
Pam and Jane finding more treasures!

Barb listening more!
Ki and Jane packing the truck with our treasures from Sisters' Garden and Bloom in Kalona, Iowa.
See what we have to look forward to!  Enjoy!  Sara
